Keep an eye on route through Headley as easy to wander off main route!, Much of the walk is on all weather paths so not so much mud and only one stile! Toilets and snacks either at café opposite Burford Bridge hotel or pub at Westhumble....

From Headley the route starts with some ziggy-zaggy footpaths, and a few gates (photo #1), before I had to cross through a field with a (docile) horse. Soon, the route went down the slope (photo #3) and then up again in the direction of the M25, which you could hear a little. After Colley Hill, the walk went down over a slippery path (photo #11)....

You quickly leave Letterhead's residential streets (photo #1) behind with a walk through some footpaths, before heading down a lane with cottages (photo #2). There is then a short section along a lane (photo #12), before you go up a narrow path (photo #13) to the top of the next hill....

Walk this routeNice route - mostly quiet, barring a short stretch parallel to the motorway. Surface is generally good, though a bit soft/muddy in places. One path on the way into Headley easy to miss without a map, but otherwise well signposted and clear....

The only downside of this route, in my opinion, is the stretch of path which runs parallel to the M25, which is very noisy....
