Walk this routeIf you've got new white trainers they'll probably stay 95% white. I'm going to walk this route again in the summer and look forward to all the leaves being on the trees....
danravenellison
If you are looking for a circular walk from either, combining this route with Exmbud Two makes for a really varied and enjoyable 17km walk. It's an interesting and sometimes curious section part of the coast, including sandy beaches, 250 million year old rocks at Orcombe Point, an enormous static caravan park (with some caravan locations looking like they'll be in the sea sometime soonish), a military firing range (you can't walk through it), patches of lush woodland, stunning coastal views and the quaint delights of Budleigh Salterton....
danravenellison
The route is not lit, I just enjoy walking in the night and this route was easy enough with my torch. I completed the route as part of a circular, combing this route with Exmbud One earlier in the day. I think there might be another couple of good route options for Exmbud....

A couple of steep and muddy ascents and descents by Peak Hill and High Peak but this was on 30 Dec after quite a lot of rain. Not an accessible route for those with any mobility challenges and generally requires a reasonable level of fitness...
