Pleasant walk, and a west-east link which is difficult by other modes of travel. However the route is currently blocked east of Alveley due to water pipeline works...

This is a really interesting route but we ran into difficulties coming down before the A road that's crossed before Alverley. In the files above, before the woodland the route was interrupted by developer work across several fields....

Full of strange folk, beer is naff, and there's a minimum £5 spend if you want to use a card...overall a decent walk purely for the scenery. just a hard going walk, and not necessarily the most appropriate to link Bridgenorth and Highly....

The walk out of Kidderminster is typically tricky to navigate in places, as is the off-road walking between Shatterford and Alveley, which is partly poorly way marked. A better sub-route may be to pass through the Severn Valley Country Park to access the River Severn crossing rather than to walk through Alveley Industrial Estate....
