I feel a bit harsh giving this route 2 stars, as it _did_ get me from Leighton to Winslow, but only just....

The first problem is that west of Shipton the route relies on a footpath that doesn't exist. If you back track to Shipton and then follow the road round to Abovemead Farm and rejoin the route you find your self in some very wet/marshy land (this was after nearly two weeks without rain) which is only passable with difficulty. This is fairly easy for the western end, but because of the construction work on the Oxford Bletchley railway line, not so easy for the eastern end of the route at the moment....

As at 23rd May 2021, the footpath has been closed where it crosses the railway line between Winslow and Little Horwood for railway construction, so route cannot be completed at present. No diversion possible....
