Walk this routeThere are several paths, but the one nearest to the planned route, which was a nice wide path at first, just ran out, resulting in a yomp through thick bracken (even in late November)....

Pleasant, interesting stroll through Tredegar before leaving the village and heading onto open hillside. Sadly, the path marked on OS maps is very much theoretical and so not a very useable route and a little difficult to recommend. Will be creating an alternate....

A short, pleasant mountain walk from the Rhymney Valley over to the Sirhowy Valley....

A pleasant enough short walk, but too many work arounds needed after leaving the road coming out of Tredegar and then getting down into Ebbw Vale...
