24 Nov 2023November 2023. Direction: Tredegar to Beaufort.
More a a Quick Way than a Slow Way. It`s fairly short, direct and safe, but most of the route is along main roads with a lot of traffic. It`s safe enough for walking, as there is a pavement all the way along the main road sections, but not a particularly pleasant walk. A point of interest along the way is the Aneurin Bevan Memorial (Photo 1) near the crest of the hill just after Rhoslan.
An alternative Trebea2 route has been drafted, but it appears to be an exact replica of this route. There is probably a better off-road route, but likely to be longer.

10 May 2023A perfectly useable route but mostly involves road walking. Direct but could be enhanced by using nearby footpaths and will be creating an alternative.
