Help connect Sudbury

Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.

Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.

Give a hike and help get a for every one of Sudbury’s Slow Ways.

The description sums it up well: mainly paths alongside fields, with some very quiet road walking through the villages. It was easy to navigate - most of the paths are well signposted and where the paths cross fields they seem obvious on the ground....

After a good meal and drink in the Lion its a nice stroll over stiles and across railway track and down through meadows into Bures...

Walk this route

The first part was really nice but the road from Great Waldingfield to Sudbury was horrible - a busy road with a pavement for 2 miles. It would have been much better to leave the route there and go via Acton - probably longer but would have been much nicer I expect....
