Description

This is a Slow Ways route connecting Clare and Sudbury. This new route suggestion reduces the connection by 0.86km (1/2 mile) by having a more direct passage through Sudbury. The path is mostly alongside farmland with a couple of small villages in between. The route is only moderately well signposted; in some instances there are no footpaths signs and in other cases the footpath has been changed by farmers but generally paths are marked. In some areas the path is overgrown but still passable. Mostly flat, biggest climb is a 40m hill just outside Clare

Nice Spring walk. The description sums it up well: mainly paths alongside fields, with some very quiet road walking through the villages. It was easy to navigate - most of the paths are well signposted and where the paths cross fields they seem obvious on the ground.
