Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

26 Apr 2024Lovely Spring walk. Good paths and easy to navigate, much of the route signposted as the Stour Valley walk. Some walking along very quiet roads.

02 Feb 2024A very pleasant walk of 7.5mi. Starting in Sudbury along an old railway bed then across undulating farmland paths and tracks. Some very quiet country lanes around Lamarsh.

30 Apr 2021Lovely little walk, need to be careful with route early on from Sudbury train station until leaving Ballingdon area estate into the fields. Some small inclines but fairly easy then through the "Hennys" ,including right past lovely old church and into Lamarsh. Some careful road side walking towards then past or into the Lamarsh Lion. After a good meal and drink in the Lion its a nice stroll over stiles and across railway track and down through meadows into Bures.
