Help connect Pensilva
Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.
Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.
Give a hike and help get a for every one of Pensilva’s Slow Ways.

The first part of this route was stunning , however once past Golberdon it started to suggest walking through public rights of way across fields that were impassable as they had not been maintained or took you straight through crops. I would not suggest walking this route especially in summer. I walked on the roads instead and this was a much better route, quiet and safer than wading through nettles and dense overgrowth....

Nice route on mostly small roads and very quiet pathways. Love the opportunity to go places I might never otherwise find myself....

A marsh, in the deepest section had broken boardwalks and in the next section, along the waymrked southern boundary of the woods, the marsh was back again (no sign of a boardwalk). If N's alternative route to Launceton checks out and if the issue with Tokenbury woods could be sorted - at least for good weather - I would want to keep this as a somewhat challenging but very enjoyable slowways option...
Edensyard
I was dissappointed to have an access issue early on; after entering farmland from the Liskeard side and walking through without issue (gates, stiles and even some signage was fine) I found myself locked in at Halbathick Cottage. Very sorry to have to report the access issue bcause otherwise this has the makings of a great slowway....
Edensyard
It is on a quite busy rural road, it is the main road between Launceston and Liskeard, with very poor visibility for walkers and drivers. I would feel unsafe walking this route, others may find it ok if they are used to walking with traffic and do not have children or dogs with them....
