Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

26 May 2025Much of the route is on single track country lanes, often with nowhere for a vehicle to pass safely. As such I wouldn't recommend it as part of the network on safety grounds.
However, the path alongside the river Lynher is very attractive.

31 Aug 2023The first part of this route was stunning , however once past Golberdon it started to suggest walking through public rights of way across fields that were impassable as they had not been maintained or took you straight through crops. I would not suggest walking this route especially in summer. I walked on the roads instead and this was a much better route, quiet and safer than wading through nettles and dense overgrowth. I will draw a better route using the roads.
