Help connect Bramley

Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.

Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.

Give a hike and help get a for every one of Bramley’s Slow Ways.

Latest Updates

A nice walk, initially through suburban paths and pavements and then through some lovely woodland before emerging onto a country lane....

The first one was right behind Tadley as the route turns towards Forest Lane. The next location I had to hesitate where to turn was when the route leaves Ash Lane and turns right towards Bramley. The remaining section down to Bramley substation was along a wide grassy path and a forest path as can be seen on the last photo....

Walk this route

An enjoyable route that visits wildflower fields, the River Loddon, and the Brenda Parker Way. The Slow Way continues though fields (Photo 3) to a rough track which follows the River Loddon....

A pleasant walk from Bramley train station to a Spencers Wood bus stop. Much of the rest of the walk was familiar to me from the Slow Way Tadley to Spencers Wood (Tadspe 1)....

Agree with the last review, that this route includes a path that no longer exists across the busy A33 dual carriageway, use Bramspe two instead....

A warmer weather is really needed a couple of days before walking this route. The only spot where walkers need to be careful is when the route needs to cross A33 motorway....

Walk this route

This route can't be recommended as it shows a way straight across A33 motorway. There is no underpass or a bridge at that point. I created Bramspe two route that uses a nearby bridge over A33....

Walk this route

A pleasant walk from Tadley, across Pamber Forest, and then lanes and woodland into Bramley. The route passes through woodland, there were plenty of bluebells out in April; and along quiet lanes (Photos 5 & 6)....

Walk this route

This would be a very nice route to walk if a critical stile close to the Loddon river was not under water. The most problematic stretch is when the route crosses the river Loddon over a bridge behind the Lillymill Farm. I tried to walk round it by getting close to the river Loddon and that led me to Potters Lane from the other side of the river. The only public route there is via the stile which was under water when I walked there....

It’s a route of three parts, the first section from Bramley train station to Cufaude is easy walking on pavements and then on-road on Cufaude Lane....
