The route uses the A82 which has a shared cycle/walkway until just outside Glencoe Village, a slight turn right will take you onto the old road into the village away from the busy traffic. The current Slow ways route uses the forest trails over Glencoe Lochan which are narrow and very popular with walkers especially with dogs and leads....

If you have just missed the ferry, no worries, there is a mobile coffee kiosk in the car park overlooking the ferry. Walk off the ferry - the cycle path up to the main A82 is a little step at 15 to 18 degrees (just over 1 in 3)....

(This is going west) If going west, where the route tells you to join the A82 at the Meeting of Three Waters, find the uphill path just behind the white house that runs for a couple minutes along the stream to an easy for. You then continue west along the hill to the car park west of the Meeting of Three Waters....
