Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

If you are using the Corran Ferry which is free to pushbikes/e-ebikes and pedestrians. Go to the top of the slipway and wait for the crew to call you to embark. You must wheel your bikes.
If you have just missed the ferry, no worries, there is a mobile coffee kiosk in the car park overlooking the ferry!
Walk off the ferry - the cycle path up to the main A82 is a little step at 15 to 18 degrees (just over 1 in 3). There is a shared cycle /walk track along the A82 which can be a tad narrow in places if you have a bike trailer/ wheelchair or mobility scooter. Watch for the long brambles during summer.
The cycle path continues over the Ballachulish Bridge and into Ballachulish Village. Which has many facilities & shops for refreshments.
The shared cycle path on the entire way makes the route much safer.
