The start of the route from Uplawmoor is along quiet rural roads and through green fields to Dunlop....

Once leaving Uplawmoor, the route goes along quiet lanes and then through fields to Dunlop....

Once out of the town, there's a nice stretch along country lanes with long views of the surrounding countryside....

From there, the route uses a clearly marked footpath and bridge to rejoin another rural road, cresting the hill and dropping down into Uplawmoor, where there is a good pub....

The route is pleasant along quiet rural roads and through good views and green fields, with a short stretch of footpath through the fields themselves. Some options for refreshments in Dunlop, otherwise Stewarton is well equipped....
