Lovely short section of the west highland way, bordered by the Green Welly on one side, and a hotel where you can get breakfast on other. Nice flat route through fields in between....

Gentle walking, and you finish off at The Green Welly for a macaroni cheese pie and to stock up on supplies! Would definitely recommend....

Some clear signposting of the route needs to be organised as the route is not where it was before forestry started and it is not always clear where it now goes....

Short but beautiful and fresh little route. Lush hotel at bridge of Orchy to get some food. Would do again....

The best part about this route is knowing you can end at the Green Welly for a macaroni cheese pie. Once you get to Tyndrum there are lots of great wild camping spots beyond. Great route, would recommend....

Walk this routeI walked this route with my friend and collague Ingrina as part of a wild camping trip! It's a spectacular route that mostly follows the West Highland way. Beautiful scenery and straightforward route....

I walked this during the autumn, so the colours were really gorgeous and made the scenery come alive much more....

Most of the time through this route you're tracking both the A82 and the line of the railway, swapping places occasionally thanks to little sheep tunnels or bridges....

Nothing wrong with the walk at all, though it's very steep at times, but it's got that lifeless feel that plantations so often do, with great scars across the landscape where logging or road-building has taken place....
