Facilities at Strath Fillan (cafe open in high season only I believe), then not much before Tyndrum but this is a great place to get a great feed at friendly Real Food Cafe, with the Tyndrum Inn across the way and the obligatory stop for resupply at the Green Welly if you are travelling onwards....

Gentle walking, and you finish off at The Green Welly for a macaroni cheese pie and to stock up on supplies! Would definitely recommend....

Make sure you pack enough food as we went a while without being able to stop for any - but then, we actually didn’t go all the way into Crianlarich as it was a small detour from the route, and we were pushing on to our next stop - so that would have been the place to re-fuel!...
Holly
Some clear signposting of the route needs to be organised as the route is not where it was before forestry started and it is not always clear where it now goes....

Even in July, a lot of the facilities in Glen Falloch were not open....
Lakeswalkers
The best part about this route is knowing you can end at the Green Welly for a macaroni cheese pie. Once you get to Tyndrum there are lots of great wild camping spots beyond. Great route, would recommend....

Amazing route - starting to see some mountains now as we gets further towards Fort William. We pushed on a bit further to Tyndrum, where we new we could stock up on supplied at the beloved Green Welly....

philtromb added Tyncri two, a new walk from Tyndrum to Crianlarich
Walk this routeWorth walking this just for Glen Falloch, a real success of thoughtful forest management after intensive grazing and then neglect degraded the landscape in the past. The now rewilded forest is a marvel to see! You follow a river for much of the route, and at each bend you get dramatic falls, rapids and a couple of all-time-great picnic spots....
spadgershat
Nothing wrong with the walk at all, though it's very steep at times, but it's got that lifeless feel that plantations so often do, with great scars across the landscape where logging or road-building has taken place....
