I walked this route as part of a long distance walk starting from Aberdeen which ended up in Braemar (via Glen Esk and the Mounth). I didn't actually do the whole of this slow way on this date as I walked from where I lived in Aberdeen, joining the Deeside way at Cults....

Walk this routeSince it was short and close to the original route, I don’t feel that a new Slow Ways route is required. At this point other Slow Wayers may wish to turn left here and follow the signs to the city century and the station, had the route gone that way I may well have given it five stars....

Once again the Deeside Way (DW) is clearly signposted (photo 2) and so I entered King George V Park to follow the path. I quickly walked out of the Park as the path followed the River Dee at this point (photo 4)....
