Help connect Stonehaven

Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.

Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.

Give a hike and help get a for every one of Stonehaven’s Slow Ways.

Walk this route

Not a great route as some of the paths were inaccessible so diversions were regularly needed which took you onto a busy road. Catterline is a very pretty place to visit though....

The only part of the path I could walk was on the country road....

Walk this route

Could not complete this route as there were many paths across farms with closed gates and some paths were so overgrown that they could not be walked. There is a great cycle path between these points which I think would be a better way to walk....
