After crossing the West Coast Main Line, and going under the Chiltern Line at Northwick Park, the route goes along the sides of a hospital, with lots of street works currently. After crossing Watford Road, the route continues along Harrow School's playing grounds, with a steepish path up towards Harrow....

For some reason it avoids Chandos Recreation Ground, which would have made a nice break from the endless streets....

Urban walking from A to B from one tube station to another. Nice form of getting steps up. Easy to walk and accessible for all abilities....

Quite a clear route following the road down suburban streets to walk up to the High Street. Recommend this route....

A really pleasant stroll, across some lovely green open spaces, the best being Freyent Park, and around Welsh Harp Reservoir. Definitely not appropriate for road bikes, wheelchairs or pushchairs (lots of grass, and would be very muddy in winter/early spring or after rain. The route as laid out here works well!...

At Chandos rec the route line goes around the outside but it is possible to walk inside the grounds which makes for a greener walk. All surfaces paved/asphalt, no steps....

However the exception is Fryent Country Park, a large open space with woodland and open grassland, on a hill near Kingsbury. Some of the paths in Fryent Park were slippery and muddy, and because it's routed along the bottom of the hill parallel to the railway the route was very soggy....

This is Kinbre One, but with the navigation in Fryent Country Park and near Welsh Harp fixed, as there were several places that were impassible....

Wembley's arch is never far away though as you come out of the park and walk through Preston Road and into the Fryent Country Park, where the route follows the Capital Ring for a bit....

Easy going apart from one 200m dilapidated steep path that is likely to be repaired soon. A pleasant walk but with not much to recommend it....

About 60% road walking but there are two wonderful places that make you feel you're in a rural setting - The Welsh Harp Reservoir and Fryent Country Park....
