23 Oct 2022I walked this on a warm autumn afternoon, without it having rained much in the past week. It's a suburban walk, with some nice sections. I walked it from Kingsbury to Harrow.
The first part until Woodcock Park was very uninspiring, just endless streets. The park was lovely with the autumn colours. After crossing the West Coast Main Line, and going under the Chiltern Line at Northwick Park, the route goes along the sides of a hospital, with lots of street works currently. A real slog, but there is a great view of Wembley Stadium. After crossing Watford Road, the route continues along Harrow School's playing grounds, with a steepish path up towards Harrow. This section was on grass and fairly mushy. Harrow is just Harrow, but at least the station has a toilet.
Strider
29 Aug 2021A meandering walk through suburban streets. One for the pavement enthusiast, lots of different types. Easy going apart from one 200m dilapidated steep path that is likely to be repaired soon. A pleasant walk but with not much to recommend it.
