3. Typical street for most of the way. Paving stones and blockwork here, wide smooth and dropped curbs. Also tarmac, slabs, & concrete, such a variety of pavement types. So many undulating dropped curbs a fast wheelchair user might get seasick. 2.7 km from start — 29 Aug 2021

9. New compacted gravel path starting opposite the Hospital across Harrow School playing fields leads up to Harrow-on-the-Hill, but we will turn right before then. This used to be an unfenced muddy path until recently. 5.5 km from start — 29 Aug 2021

11. Steep very rugged path. When wet it is obvious water pours down this path and the center of what was a tarmac path has been washed away exposing rocks and tree roots. Roots almost make a staircase in places. The path is not suitable for wheels. There is a notice of planning permission to renovate this path ( comments to be made by 9/9/21, so near future renovation of this path is likely which may mean it is blocked for a while. 5.9 km from start — 29 Aug 2021
