Nice walking through the well kept paths of Kings Hill though after crossing the bypass the route ceased to exist - the footpath through the field is no longer accessible. In winter and after rain this route (if it was available) would be very muddy, and not advisable for most users. A more reliable year round option would be to walk along the wide footpath alongside the bypass and past the train station, which is barrier free and fully paved...

I walked this in 2 sections in May, first from Maidstone to Northpole Road, Barming Heath in a couple of hours. Road walking through Barming Heath to Northpole Road. Second part of walk from Northpole Road goes past converted Water tower then left through Oaken wood on good wide path with variable surface including stone chippings. Note there are some road sections and road crossing needed....
And
There is a rambler gate at the entry to Manor Park, and a kissing gate at the exit to Manor Park....
