We detoured to the cafe, where some of us split off, while others of us took a walk around the park before going on to Beckenham Junction station....

I rather enjoyed passing the 1937 built J O'Hanlon-Hughes designed St Edmunds Church, just after crossing the park into Beckenham....

We leave Beckenham north along Southend Road, then head straight on into Beckenham Place Park, where we follow the surfaced road uphill before turning left to exit the park back onto Southend Road....

From Elmers End we head east along Elmers End Road - there is a light assisted crossing at the junction where we turn left onto Croydon Road....

Uses all the green spaces to great effect, including the Beckenham Place Park and Pool River....

The dinosaurs in Crystal Palace Park are awesome, perhaps even terrific, but the rest of the park is worth exploring if you have time....

Walked Crystal Palace to Beckenham Junction. Enjoyable route with plenty of green. There were a couple of places where I wondered why the route detoured a bit, but I decided this is to keep it step free, which is a bonus....

From Bromley High Street I accessed the route through Church House Gardens next to the Churchill Theatre....

If you don't mind steps, it's shorter to use the footbridge at Penge East Station to get to Lennard Road and you get a view of Holy Trinity Church too....

Direct, mostly very quiet given the traffic on the bigger roads. A nice little park I'd never visited before with a few interesting stories and an large mistletoe colony. If I didn't like it I wouldn't have uploaded it ;)...
