Help connect New Quay

Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.

Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.

Give a hike and help get a for every one of New Quay’s Slow Ways.

Latest Updates

Note that there is currently a well signposted diversion on the coast path on the west side of Aberaeron due to coastal defence improvements - the diversion uses Wellington Gardens and a new paved path that skirts the edge of the county council car park. The current signposted coast path diversion in Aberaeron is to follow Vulcan Place, Wellington Street and Wellington Gardens past the primary school, then go straight on on the paved path (picture 1) that skirts the car park of the council offices then cross the field beyond the builders' fences....
