This is a great route and very easy to navigate as it follows the Great Glen Way. The northern two-thirds is flat and follows the canal. The southern part includes a short steep 130m ascent....

Really lovely path through the forest from Invergarry to Bridge of Oich, then canal towpath into Fort Augustus. Very clear path and well way marked as part of the Great Glen Way. The canal towpath is a little hard on the feet at the end of a long day....
