Crossing the wall into the first field was quite easy, but only looked partly like a stile! The last road section didn’t seem quite as busy....

Most of the route was the same as AirMal One, but near Town End Farm I crossed only a tiny tributary, and not the River Aire....

I started from Airton (having just walked from Hellifield), and followed the initial, pretty, and nicely managed Riverside Walk footpath on the west of the River Aire, but took a detour to have some lunch at the Town End Farm Shop Café, which was very nice with a view of Malham Cove....

I have walked most of this route on several previous occasions, so it came as no surprise that it was absolutely glorious, especially the track from Hellifield to Otterburn....
