Description
This route is loosely the same as WelRus one, but takes account of the lack of useable paths between Irthlingborough Road and the Nene in Wellingborough, and also uses the Greenway path to provide a better approach to Rushden. I have test walked all of it except the section of pavement walk along The Embankment. The footpath along the Nene is mostly unsurfaced and mostly grassy, with raised footbridges that have steps. This route uses steps to access the footbridge over the A45 but there are also longer ramps
