Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

08 May 2022Lovely walk through changing landscapes, from the business of Redruth through to the North Coast and the seaside town of Perranporth. Good cafes in Redruth, Mount Hawke, St Agnes and Perranporth. There are limitations with stiles to cross and cows in some fields. Some paths are signed but most are not. There is one point where the route seems closed. This is at the crossing of the main railway line and the A30. One option is to turn right and walk on the main road to reconnect. The preferable alternative is to turn left and soon take a right turn for a minor path/lane that crosses over the train line and then the A30. Eventually a right turn will take you back on the route (see photo). Further on there is a marked diversion around a farm, see photos.
