Description
This route from Oxshott to Epsom starts by using pavement along the A244. On entering Prince's Coverts it uses concessionary tracks, some of which become a slippery muddy mess following rain. These lead to a very badly surfaced lane which reaches the A243 at The Star pub. Crossing this main road you then follow a bridleway along the edge of Ashtead Common, past the Stew Ponds on Epsom Common and to the B280. You follow this at first alongside the common, and then into Epsom
