A tweaked version of Netcou One, which I hope clarifies the confusion I experienced at Farthing Down, where choice of path can make a difference to ease of passage!
From Netherne there's a steep drop on a tricky path through woods, then emerge into farmland. Cross Drive Road - an old deeply rutted bridle path which is difficult for foot passage - and go through a gate into a field. Walk uphill, then a quick in-and-out through a gate onto Drive Road and then straight through another gate onto Farthing Down. At Farthing Down walk uphill to the motor road, cross the road, then drop down the other side before turning towards Coulsdon.

Mostly good paths, although the woodland section at Netherne is steep and rooty in places. Be prepared for slippery ground in a few places too. There may be docile cows on Farthing Down.

Netherne has a village store but no other refreshments, and no benches near the meeting point - if you explore the village off-route there should be something to sit on near the cricket ground area. No public transport, nearest bus stop is at Hooley on the A23, which can be accessed using Slow Way Bannet
