Description
Walk between Elland and Brighouse with only a minimum of up and down! Leave Elland via some green fields, cross under the railway line, continue to the Cromwell Bottom Nature Reserve, and then follow the Calder and Hebble navigation towpath all the way to Brighouse.
I've made this route in response to Ellbri One, which I considered unnecessarily steep in places; and steep, tricky to navigate, and in parts a little unsafe on the woodland path. It aims to combine directness with keeping the ups and downs to a minimum
