Description

My only issue with Bramar one is that it leaves Edington then ascends the steep hill Salisbury Hollow, and having done so, immediately descends back down to Great Cheverell. This route removes this by staying at the bottom of the hill. By doing so, removes circa 450' of ascent. From Gt Cheverell, the route is broadly similar. Great Cheverell is just in the middle third, and has pub, shop, bus stop etc. The downside of this route over Bramar two is that by staying low, one encounters significantly more, pedestrian and kissing gates, stiles and bridges
