Description
This route leaves Dinas Powys the same way as Bardin1 but then follows a quiet road towards Biglis Cottage, away from the main road (much more peaceful). Then there's an unpaved track that goes under the railway line to Biglis Farm. Just past the farm, I tried the footpath leading left across the field towards the school, but it was fairly overgrown and looked totally impassable from the other (Barry) end. Instead, it's best to use the farm access lane. There's a subway under the A4231 linking the school with Barry.
My only concern is a small section of track by the railway line which was nearly submerged in water on a non-muddy day - it may be a bigger problem in wetter periods
