Help connect Porthcurno

Many Slow Ways have several route options. Some will be better than others, or good for different reasons.

Our goal is for each Slow Way to have at least one route that is verified and surveyed. To be verified – and get its snail badge – a route needs at least three positive reviews.

Give a hike and help get a for every one of Porthcurno’s Slow Ways.

This is a beautiful coastal route, but since it is part of the South West Coast Path it can be challenging, and the whole distance can be a long and strenuous day. Nevertheless it is highly recommended, since apart from the circus of tourists in the Land's End/Sennen area, the whole coast is beautiful, from atmospheric Cape Cornwall to the lovely coves of the south end. There is a very steep descent of steps from Minack to the Porthcurno beach; some may prefer to follow the road round from the Minack car park....
