Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

04 Sep 2024This is an enjoyable walk and agree that this alternative was needed. There is quite a lot of road walking without verges between Yelverton and through Meavy. Between Meavy and Cadover Bridge there are wide grass verges. To be fair these roads are very quiet and the road is wide enough for 1 car and a pedestrian to pass. A busier road at the time I walked it was between Ivybridge golf Club and the houses at Langham. The road is wide enough for 2 vehicles, but no verges and traffic at around 5pm was quite busy and quite fast. There is a communty pub at Cornwood and very often an ice cream van at cadover Bridge.
