Description
This is a walkable alternative to WORHOY 1, which I attempted to walk yesterday.
As Dan said in his review, the bridlepath between the old railway tracks at Blacker Hill and Worsbrough is impossible to follow on the ground, lacking signs, stiles and any sign of use. The area is criss-crossed with unofficial tracks and forest roads, making navigation complicated and uncertain, and many of the tracks are muddy and deeply rutted.
Instead of attempting to document the route I took (definitely not recommended), I have chosen an alternative that sticks to more popular tracks which are either rights of way or better trodden alternatives close to them - all of them are recognised as paths by the OS app snap-to-footpaths tool and OpenStreetMaps

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.
