Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

01 Jan 2023Can't comment on the overall concept of the walk but I know that the Wolverhampton end is incorrect, as are all the original Slow Ways connecting Wolverhampton via the canal. You simply can not access the meeting place in the way depicted. The more direct Wolvwil two fixes this but differs as a route from this one.

02 Jan 2023I can see what you mean, David. I must have assumed when creating the route that the canal towpath from the Railway Drive overpass, since it is a National Cycle Route. Looking at Street View, it’s not clear if it can be accessed from Corn Hill either.
How on earth are people supposed to get onto this towpath ? Any ideas?

02 Jan 2023I first came across this problem on the walk from Coseley/Bilston. I've fixed it for those routes as well as this one and the route to Wednesfield. It's a bit Heath Robinson but I know from having made this connection numerous times, there's no simpler way to do it
