The steps adjacent to the tube station were quite steep and then I struggled to find the cut through path. I missed a turning but walked on to rejoin the route. Nice to cross a bridge and be walking on the Grand Union Canal. This path was quite busy with bikes and would not be accessible for motorised wheelchairs. At the end due to HS2 you can't go down to the station but have to follow the diversion.

I walked from Wembley to Old Oak Common.
Old Oak Common Node is not accessible yet (as other reviewers have stated) but the walk is there and can be used. It is virtually the same walk as Wemkil One.
There are steps close to Wembley station that can be walked around, the suburban streets to the Grand Union Canal. Entrance and exit points on the canal are step free and the paths are mostly good.
A short distance (500m) past Old Oak are East Acton Tube, Hammersmith Hospital, Linford Christie Stadium and Wormwood Scrubs Park.

I walked this route directly after OldWes, so I started in Westbourne Park and finished in Wembley. I just stayed on the Grand Union Canal, as the bit around the Old Oak Common node isn’t actually publicly accessible at the moment, as the other reviewer has noted.

Following the paved Grand Union Canal towpath makes navigation incredibly simple, and there were lots of interesting details to keep the walk engaging, like a cool bridge, or industrial activity as the city gradually changed, or a lovely canal-side restaurant. Simply following a canal towpath for so long can be a bit dull, but this one kept me sufficiently interested.

After leaving the towpath, the residential streets were perfectly pleasant and fine for walking! Just note at the end of Station Grove right near Wembley there’s a large staircase to go up.

You might even get some £1 sweet corn on arrival at Wembley station!!.
