Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.

15 Oct 2022I walked the section from Upton to Poole, which is an easy scenic walk with good shoreline views. It's a route I often walk. The gpx file has incorrectly shown 500m ascent. The ascent/descent is actually identical to warpoo one., with Upton being the highest point. The section from Wareham to Upton has a lot of road walking, but there is no other feasable route without adding a lot of distance.

17 Oct 2022It's been pointed out to me that another 1 km or more could be taken off road by using footpaths through the woods between Sandford and Holton Heath station.
