22 Feb 2023 (edited 23 Feb 2023)Walked from Upton to Tewkesbury. I will give it a qualified thumbs up, as most of it is enjoyable, but the section through the quarry workings needs updating to reflect the diversion route and there are a couple of other places where the plotting is a bit too loose, so I have submitted UPTTEW 3, which unlike UPTTEW 2 retains the original route under Mythe Bridge and past the water works on the Severn Way. For a more detailed review with pictures see UPTTEW 3.

24 Nov 2022I did this walk from Upton to Tewkesbury. On the day I walked it I couldn't obviously see access under (or down from) Mythe Bridge (A438), so I decided to make use of the footpath to the east of Mythe Road (A38) instead.
It was not hard to work out, but on the day I walked I couldn't quite make this route work. I'd marking my review as a "maybe" but if someone can confirm the route works I'll update my review.
Otherwise this is a great route! Loved walking along the river, through some beautiful grasses and the lane walking was good for me too.

22 Feb 2023I had no real trouble finding the path under Mythe Bridge - I agree it could do with a clear sign though

31 Jan 2022Very enjoyable walk, beautiful views of the Severn and Malvern hills. Even the bit that goes through a working quarry was a little bit exciting. Plenty of lovely pubs at either end, there is one at Ripple (The Railway) but wasn't open when I went. But it was a January Monday.
