Well used route mostly along the side of a golf course. From Alloa (shops, cafes) follow Stirling road until opposite primary school route is signposted climbing up a wooded bank. Initially tarmaced and streetlit, but steep and cambered,after about half a mile it loses both these when it leaves the edge of housing scheme. At this point follow the golf course side of the wall( fairly muddy underfoot) , and then skirt around the edge of the course to reach Tullibody. Path is not well marked in this area, but path following edge of housing scheme ultimately leads back onto road (and bus route) to Tullibody. In other direction south and downhill from town centre ( coop, local shops) along Main st until Join Abercrombie Place which follow until route is signposted at start of golf course on right.
