02 Aug 2024A lovely quiet start to the walk alongside the canal with plenty of benches. The middle third was a bit 'messy' for me as path not always clear and across a field. Lanes were quiet ish and easy. Ending in Cullompton where drinks and food could be found. But overall a nice walk and very flat if energy levels are low.

02 Aug 2024I walked from Tiverton to Cullompton on a muggy summer day, so was very happy that this is a flat, relatively short and easy walk.
The 2.5 miles along the canal was my favourite part of the walk - peaceful and plenty of nature.
Can't really add much more to the previous reviews - good route.

28 Aug 2023A walk of two halves. The first part (if coming from Tiverton) is along the canal and totally flat. The rest is a mixture of quiet country lanes and field paths. It avoid the gentle climb to Sock Hill which means it has less road walking than TivCul One but you miss the views from here.
The canal basin is also a valid start/end point for the walk with toilets, car parking a visitor center and a cafe.

04 May 2021A relatively easy walk, along the canal, footpaths and quiet country lanes. 3 stiles and 3 gates. Also steps on the route.
