Description
This route is based on improvements suggested in the reviews and survey of StrEas one. It is broadly similar using roads parallel to the original route and still goes through West Ham Park while avoiding more of the busy shopping areas in Stratford. Other new bits: more of Whalebone Lane (no traffic) beside Stratford Park, the art deco former Trebor Sweets factory, Plashet Park and the Sri Mahalakshmi Temple in East Ham.
The route intersects various roads with shops, eating places and bus routes. There are public toilets in both West Ham Park and Plashet Park. Both parks are locked at night around dusk, monthly times on signs at the entrances although not online. See photos. It's very flat and paved throughout, without any steps or ramps. Although it's entirely possible there may be occasional rough pavements or undropped kerbs

Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.
