Surveys
We are working to build-up a picture of what routes look like. To do that we are asking volunteers to survey routes so that we can communicate features, obstacles and challenges that may make a route desirable or not.
Slow Ways surveyors are asked to complete some basic online training, but they are not vetted. If you are dependent on the survey information being correct in order to complete a route, we recommend that you think critically about the information provided. You may also wish to wait until more than one survey has been completed.
Help people know more about this route by volunteering to submit a survey.

20 Nov 2024A good and straight forward Slow Way that mostly goes through pastures and country lanes.
When I walked it the path to the east of Common Lane had a flooded path and heavy with mud. You can avoid that and some stiles by just following Common Lane and skipping a couple of fields.
There's a good view across the countryside to Stalbridge from the Marnhull end of the walk.
I'd 100% walk this route again, but with waterproof shoes if it had been raining!.

13 Aug 2023It's a nice way to get from Stalbridge to Marnhull in a little bit more than 6 km.
The route of the first 5K (up to the intersection of Cox Hill and Common Lane) is identical to Stastu (one and two). From there the tar road leads into Marnhull.
See my review of Stastu.
