The route works, but the paths are neglected in places and not the best. The best bits or the walk make up for the worst though!...

That said, it's also a gorgeous part of the country with some wonderful views and I loved Duncliffe Woods, which were ablaze with autumn colours. There's not only great views, but lots of charming shops....

When I walked it the path to the east of Common Lane had a flooded path and heavy with mud....

First part along the river was flooded and impassable so initially followed Bath Road up towards Sturminster High School, thereafter route was muddy, very muddy and very wet underfoot in place, but passable....

The only difference with Marsha one, is that after Caalm Camp, where Marsha one crosses the tar road and continues through the grassland, Marsha two follows the tar road towards Stour Row....

From Shepherd's Farm (after 1.5K) the route of Marstu is the same as Stastu. For more details, see my review of Stastu one....

The route of the first 5K (up to the intersection of Cox Hill and Common Lane) is identical to Stastu (one and two). From there the tar road leads into Marnhull. See my review of Stastu....
