30 Dec 2022 (edited 31 Dec 2022)Mostly this is a good interesting route. Cobham and Ripley are both old coaching villages on the old Portsmouth road; I enjoyed the semaphore tower on Ockham Common, and I was excited to go through Wisley Gardens.
However the public footpath through Wisley is suspended and has now been built over. The alternative through the car park isn't obvious unless you know to look for it, and has still not been properly adopted as a public footpath. I've decided to flag this route for access because as it stands it routes people through the middle of a shopping centre.
I've made an alternative route Ripcob Two which skips the car park and goes across Wisley Common instead. It's also a bit shorter.
