29 Jan 2023Fairly short and relatively easy walk. Couple of muddy patches after some rain. Found it interesting and pretty, felt like I was further out than we actually were! Would do again.

07 Jan 2023I enjoyed this route. It is short but interesting. Good views across the estuary. However at the time I walked it, just after a ew days of heavy rain there were a couple of difficult sections. These were the off tarmac stretches. Only short but could be problematic. Particularly on the steep section of enclosed path alongside Clevelands Park at Northam. After heavy rain or if wheeling maybe consider the Norbid2 option. Otherwise excellent.

29 Jan 2022 (edited 13 Feb 2022)Short, fairly easy walk. Most of it is off road, and follows the river and coast path some of the way. Much of it is wooded, and despite being an urban walk, it feels like you are out in the country, be prepared for rough, stony pathways. Good views when it opens out.
I really enjoyed it, and if I ever need to walk from Northam to Bideford again, this will be my preferred route, assuming it's day time, much better than following the main roads.
