20 Aug 2021This is a pleasant walk but only given 3 stars as route incorrect through Cranfield University Campus.
Walk starts in Cranfield village and continues on pavement next to road past Cranfield airport.
Just pasted Stilliters Farm there is a footpath that takes you to the University Campus and should be able to pick up footpath across field from there. I could not find the start of the track. There is a Nissan building, 'Do not trespass' signs where the track should be. (according to my map reading skills which are quite basic).
Instead I continued down the Moulsoe Road and turned right into College Lane and picked up the footpath across the fields there.
Mainly arable fields with footpath in place through the crop.
When rejoin the road just outside Newport Pagnell there is no pavement for about 1/4 mile.
Needs someone with knowledge of the University Campus to work out the route through it.
