I walked from Neyland to Milford. Leaving the car in Milford I caught the bus over to Neyland. The residents in the small village of Neyland were lovely, each one went out of their way to say hello or ask where I was walking to. The road gives excellent views across the Daugleddau estuary and over to Pembroke Dock where I watched a large passenger ferry disembarking.

Further on is the historical church of St Tudwall. named after a sixth century Breton monk and has stood in situ since the 12th century. Church road leads into a tiny hamlet of Llandstadwell with it's jetty and pub on the estuary front. As you exit Llanstadwell you come across the first off road section along the National Coast Path. The coast path runs south of the oil refinery, now a LPG storage and distribution site, but trees and banks disguise the site well,.

As the refinery comes into full view, there are bridges and paths alongside the site. This makes for an interesting section of the walk with plenty of things to look at. After the end of the extensive solar panel farm, the route heads in land to circumnavigate Castle Pill. After crossing Black Bridge, the route runs alongside the shoreline (not sure if it would be accessible in a high tide, but plenty of alternative routes if needed).

The last section is a flat off road tarmac path that looks like an old tram road that takes you into Milford Marina and to the end point.

Its a fantastic walk and the industrial heritage just provides something a little different to the conventional walks. One I would highly recommend.
